Haishu District is situated in the center of Ningbo, facing Fenghua River on its east and Yuyao River on its north, bordering Yuyao District to the west and Fenghua District to the south. It has an area of 595.5 square kilometers, with a registered population of 626,363. Haishu also serves as the traffic center of Ningbo, connecting the superhighway to Shanghai and Hangzhou. The city's Railway Station, Long-distance Bus Station and Lishe International Airport are all located in this district. Moreover, Gulou station as the transfer station of Subway Line 1 and Line 2 is also located in the district. Almost all of the bus lines and taxis of the city, radiating in all directions, pass through Haishu.
