On February 26, the reporter learned from the Ningbo Lishe International Airport that the airport's international route network has gained a new member. It plans to officially launch direct passenger flights from Ningbo to Manado, Indonesia, on March 5, operated by Indonesia's Batik Air. This will mark the first time the Ningbo Airport has opened a route to and from Manado, as well as its first cooperation with Batik Air.

According to the flight schedule, three flights will be operated in March. Starting from April, the flights will be adjusted to operate once a week, every Thursday, forming a stable and regular operation. The outbound flight departs from the Ningbo Airport at 23:00 Beijing time and arrives in Manado at 04:10 the next day. The return flight departs from Manado at 16:50 local time and arrives in Ningbo at 22:00 Beijing time.
As the capital of North Sulawesi Province in Indonesia, Manado is one of the important economic centers in eastern Indonesia, offering broad prospects for cooperation in areas such as marine fishery resource development, infrastructure construction, and tourism industry investment. The opening of this route fills the gap of direct flights from Ningbo to eastern Indonesia, providing a convenient air channel for local enterprises to "go global" for economic and trade cooperation and resource connection.

In recent years, the Ningbo Airport has continuously optimized its international route layout, actively responding to the travel needs of enterprises. By opening scheduled flights, charter flights, and additional flights, it serves the local economic development and the overall situation of opening up. The opening of the Manado route is a concrete measure taken by the airport to meet corporate demands and serve the construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative, providing more convenient air transportation services for enterprises to expand into the Southeast Asian market, conduct business inspections, and facilitate labor export.
