"This batch of taros is now for a harvest after growing for more than three months since it was planted in mid-February. Li Xingwei, Party branch Secretary of the Lijiakeng Village, said that the price of taros is between 13 to 15 yuan per kilogram, which is more than twice that of ordinary potatoes.
