In the morning of May 16, the Opening Ceremony of the China Computer Federation Youth Elite Conference 2024 was held in the Haishu District. Experts and scholars, including Zheng Weimin, a fellow and Former Chairman of the China Computer Federation, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and a professor of the Tsinghua University,  Hu Shimin, a fellow and Vice Chairman of the China Computer Federation, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a professor of the Tsinghua University, Ye Zhili, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Haishu District Committee and District Mayor of the Haishu District, and Li Gao, Deputy District Mayor of the Haishu District, participated in the event. In her speech, Ye Zhili said that in recent years, the Haishu District has attached great importance to the layout and development of artificial intelligence, collaborative interaction, and other fields, actively creating a "tropical rainforest styled" innovation ecosystem. A group of innovation platforms have developed and grown, a group of innovative entities have grown strong, and a group of innovative talents have accelerated their gathering.

Ye Zhili said that this conference not only brings together academic experts from relevant scientific research institutions and large IT enterprises, but also attracts young elite friends from domestic and foreign universities. It is not only a talent show for collision with wisdom, but also a grand stage for imagining the future. It's wished that everyone can come to Haishu, learn more about Haishu, provide guidance for Haishu, and help Haishu accelerate the cultivation of new productive forces. Haishu will pay tribute to talents with the "highest treatment" and ensure development with the "best ecology". We hope that Haishu will become the starting point and place for realization of innovation and entrepreneurship dreams of all elites.

The China Computer Federation Youth Elite Conference 2024 is hosted by the China Computer Federation, undertaken by the School of Cyberspace Security of Ningbo University of Technology, and supported by the People's Government of the Haishu District. With the theme of "Intelligence for New Advances", it invites renowned experts from colleges and universities, scientific research institutions, and large-scale IT enterprises from both at home and abroad to give high-level academic and technical presentations covering fields such as artificial intelligence and collaborative interactive intelligence and so on. It also organizes "thought shows" to envision the future and "academic shows for outstanding college and university students" to showcase their talents, and introduces a series of cutting-edge viewpoint forums and technical forums on big models and data governance and so on.
