At 15:23 on April 1, a domestically produced large aircraft C919 landed smoothly on the runway of the Ningbo Lishe International Airport. This is the first time Zhejiang welcomes this domestically produced model.

This C919 aircraft took off from Hedong Airport in Yinchuan, Ningxia at 12:18 on the same day. The mission was a transfer flight and did not carry passengers. It was mainly used for route guidance training. This aircraft also participated in the Hong Kong Island circumnavigation demonstration in 2023 and the Singapore Airshow 2024.

The C919 aircraft is China's first jet civilian aircraft produced according to the latest international airworthiness standards and with independent intellectual property rights. It has a maximum capacity of 190 passengers and a maximum range of 5,555 kilometers. It is worth mentioning that the only private enterprise among the 9 aircraft structure suppliers in China for C919 is the Xizi Spirit Aerospace Industry (Zhejiang) Ltd. from the Zhejiang Province.

It is reported that in order to ensure the successful completion of this supporting task, the Ningbo Airport has formulated a full process supporting plan for C919 aircraft takeoff and landing, clarifying the specific requirements for aircraft parking, positioning guidance, ground vehicle docking, and other links. Front line controllers have a clear understanding of various performance data and supporting requirements.
