"Smart Hungary" is an international scientific and technological exchange activity founded by the Hungarian government. "Hungary is one of the countries with the highest number of Nobel laureates per capita in the world," said Balogh András Zoltán, First Secretary of the Hungarian Embassy in China, during the exchange event on the day. In October 2021, under the active promotion of the Ningbo CEEC Innovation Base, the Ningbo Association for Science and Technology and the Hungarian Embassy in China jointly held the "Smart Hungary" touring exhibition and technology project roadshow for the first time. As of now, Ningbo has communicated with more than 40 projects through holding of the "Smart Hungary" technology project roadshows, with some projects accelerating settlement.

"During this process, we have felt Ningbo's openness and inclusiveness, as well as its enthusiasm for scientific and technological cooperation and exchanges, which is also the reason for attracting both sides to continue cooperation," said Balogh András Zoltán.

This project roadshow is also full of highlights: a billing robot developed based on artificial intelligence technology can help enterprises achieve cost reduction and efficiency increase in management and operation; an online medical app that integrates voice robots, remote medical care, and first aid functions makes medical diagnosis and treatment services more convenient and faster; with the support of emerging technologies, surgical guide software can achieve intraoperative visualization of the surgical area and plan oral surgery through 3D virtual methods... The reporters learnt that some of these projects that focus on new tracks and gather the latest technological achievements are about to achieve achievement transformation and enter the international market in the form of specific products.

The persons in charge of the Haishu District Science and Technology Bureau and the Haishu District Association for Science and Technology said that in the future, Haishu will make full use of the "Smart Hungary" international science and technology exchange platform under the guidance and support of relevant higher-level departments, further strengthen international scientific and technological talent exchanges and cooperation, and provide assistance for promoting bilateral cooperation and exchanges between China and Hungary, as well as the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
