“The Haishu District Workplace Safety Accident Emergency Drill 2020 now begins!” Lately, in the AB InBev Factory in the Yinjiang Town, under the command of the commander-in-chief, the staff in protective clothing rushed into the smoky workshop where an “accident” occurred under the cover of firemen’s water guns to repair the equipment malfunctioned. On the other side, ambulances and the medical staff were also in place in time to relay the “wounded” from the rescue crew.

As is learnt, the emergency drill is jointly participated by departments in charge of fire-fighting, ecological environment, sanitary and health care, emergency and so on, simulating emergency rescue process of liquid ammonia leakage and confined space operation accident in a brewery, so as to test the emergency response and rescue ability of the emergency rescue team in the Haishu District on aspects of field control, personnel rescue, emergency rescue, and observation and survey of the environment and so on. (Photo/ Zhang Haohua and Jin Shuangyan)
