Located at the south-center of Ningbo, east to Changchun Road and Lingqiao Road, south to Fenghua River，west to Liuting overpass, and north to the west Zhongshan Road, Nanmen has a registered population of 46 thousand, with 11 communities under its administration. Major transportation facilities including Ningbo Station and South City Bus Station are all located in this area. Business streets like Nantang Old Street are also located in the area, along with major restaurants and hotels like Nanyuan Hotel and Ningbo Hotel. Several outstanding educational facilities and complex including Xiaoshi High School and Ningbo CPC School are all located in this area. Some spots, such as the Quanzuwang Tomb, the old house of Yuan Muzhi, and the Xieshan Tomb, have already become the cultural relic protection heritages of the municipal level or district level.
